Yea, if you drive without your insurance card, the police here are allowed to tow your car because you don't have all your documentation. Especially during an accident though, they should have dug deeper. I just thought the police are here and they have much more experience with this so I let them take over the exchange of information. I actually got her information right after the accident, but then the police re-wrote everything for us. Just another time where Police have been negligent about their duties and another time where they have not helped me when I was in need of their help. My insurance actually can't do much without getting her insurance policy number. If she for sure doesn't have insurance, then I guess they have to bring it to court.
